The ADK balances has protection for the weighing mechanism that must be removed before the balance is used similar to the ACB Series.  To remove the shipping protection, remove the weighing pan then place the balance on its side on a table.  Remove the cover over the protection screw by loosening 2 screws.  Then simply remove the protection screw, place in a safe place in case it is needed for shipping the balance again.  Replace the protection cover and you're ready to weigh.

Setting up the balance so it is level and to achieve peak performance is a breeze with the 4 adjustable leveling feet and level bubble indicator.

If you intend to determine specific gravity or to weigh a sample immersed in a special liquid or atmosphere, you'll need to purchase the optional weighing underhook.  The weigh below feature is also used to weigh magnetic material since the ADK works on a electro magnetic force restoration sensor.

The simple 3 button design (ON/OFF, TARE, CAL) makes the ADK on of the simplest high capacity balances on the market today.  Optional calibration masses are required to perform calibration.

The bright green LED display makes reading the weighing results a breeze in poorly lit areas.

When you need a large weighing platform with 0.1 gram readability the ADK is the choice for simple weighing in GRAMS ONLY.

RS-232 interface comes as standard for printing of results using the optional Adam thermal printer or connection to a PC using an aftermarket data collection program enabling the balances to be integrated into an ISO/GLP quality system.
